Halloween Continues: Apple fangs and marshmallow jack-o’lanterns

The Halloween fun continues with apple fangs.  This is one of the easiest and, if I can judge by the empty plate, one of the most popular treats at the Halloween party.  I got the idea for the apple fangs from Lynn Hemer of Cook and Be Merry. One of Nahid’s nephew’s has a nut allergy so we improvised a bit.  The three ingredients–apples, lemon juice and 99 Cent Store fangs make it the easiest–quarter, core, cut fangs in half, paint apples with lemon juice, watch kids smile.

Last year I worked on the recipe for marshmallow jack-o-lanterns  It’s an easy one.  Let them set, cut them out and let the kids have fun.

I also made some marshmallow candy corn out of the leftover marshmallows.  Cut and dip in chocolate.

  1. You are WAAAAAY too much fun at a party!

  2. The kids had so much fun and actually ate more healthy stuff than the candy. Thanks again.
